Revue was a new product offering that combined television and the on-demand nature of the web with Google TV. Smart Design was initially engaged to design a video calling system to be used from your couch. This included a set top box, remote and HD video camera, all of which connected to your HDTV and was designed by Smart.
Somewhere down the line however, Google approached Logitech to combine forces on a new TV offering, Google TV which enabled you to access the web, watch TV, and make video calls. A marketplace of TV apps would eveentually create further functionality. Logitech's set top box and wireless keyboard would enable customers who didn't have a shiney new flat screen to also access Google TV.
Our project then expanded to design more of the ecosystem Logitech would ultimately own, including: customer support for TV and the web, system setup and a media player.
